DIAPER RASH REMEDY Here are some possibilities: 1) I learned this from a nurse who is a grandmother and has several decades of experience. Using Desitin will heal diaper rash, but THE AREA MUST, MUST, MUST BE TOTALLY BONE DRY before you put it on. To dry, pat with a towel, and/or feed baby while wrapped in a towel and with no diaper on so the air can dry it, and / or blow on the area (while watching out that you don't get a projectivel mouthful!). I tried this and it got rid of a rash within a day! 2) Since nappies are the problem, consider Infant Potty Training - which is done successfully by millions of babies around the world. 3) Possibly it the chemicals in the nappy themselves. Consider changing brands or even using cotton nappies that are double rinsed when washed. 4) In some cases nappy rash is caused by candida, which is caused by an incorrect balance of good bacteria (probiotics). Try iFlora for Kids. This will be good for their digestion and elimination in any case. 5) A bath with soap does wonders. 100% olive oil soap is the best, for the whole family.
