DIAPER RASH REMEDY

Here are some possibilities:

1) I learned this from a nurse who is a grandmother and has several decades of experience.

Using Desitin will heal diaper rash, but THE AREA MUST, MUST, MUST BE TOTALLY BONE DRY before you put it on.

To dry, pat with a towel, and/or feed baby while wrapped in a towel and with no diaper on so the air can dry it, and / or blow on the area (while watching out that you don’t get a projectile mouthful!).

I tried this and it got rid of a rash within a day!

2) Possibly it is the chemicals in the nappy themselves. Consider changing brands or even using cotton nappies that are double rinsed when washed.

3) In some cases nappy rash is caused by candida, which is caused by an incorrect balance of good bacteria (probiotics). Try iFlora for Kids. This will be good for their digestion and elimination in any case.

4) A bath with chemical-free soap does wonders. Black African soap or coconut soap is the best, for the whole family.
