The Solution to Overpopulation

The solution to world overpopulation is surprisingly simple. The graphs below show how the more electricity a population uses, the less babies they have.

The above graphs clearly show that when people get electricity, they have less babies.
However, the good news is that even with the limited amounts of electricity available to poor people, the population bomb has ALREADY BEEN DEFUSED. Read a quote from this article:
A generation ago, the world fertility rate was around six kids per woman. Today it is 2.6, which is getting close to the level needed just to maintain the current population long-term. Allowing for girls who don’t make it to adulthood, that is around 2.3.
People in undeveloped countries have lots of babies mainly as insurance against old age. And to make up for all the babies that they know will die, to make sure that at least some survive.
Why do people have less babies when they have more electricity? No doubt there are many reasons. Think of all the people you know who have no or only a few children. Some of the reasons are:
They choose to do other things than raise a family.
They want the few children they have to have more money. Once people don’t have to worry about their children dying (as they do in areas where this is no electricity) , they can fairly safely count on raising 1-3 children to adulthood.
They like to spend their money on other things. Children, especially in developed countries, cost money. It’s a lot easier to have a big house and holidays if you have less children.
Some people will worry that if undeveloped countries get electricity, then the environment will suffer. This does not need to be the case. First of all, please do research to learn that CO2 is not a danger to the environment. Please see this graph which shows that the proportion of CO2 that is man made is only 0.0164% by mass of the total atmosphere, almost invisible!
Visit www.IceAgeNow.com to realize that the media has been withholding all kinds of reports that show the world is actually cooling right now, because of the lack of sun spots. Not surprisingly, it turns out that it is the sun, not us, that drives the weather. However, you won’t hear too much about this while people are making billions of dollars out of the Global Warming Scam.
What is needed is to focus on real solutions. Plus to focus on ways to prevent REAL pollution.
One possibility is the idea put forward by genius Buckminster Fuller, which is promoted by GENI – Global Energy Network International. In a nutshell, electricity cannot be stored. It is very expensive to turn the turbines on and off. So at night time, when demand goes down in one area, it should be sent to other areas. There are some problems with this idea, most of all the fact that people who live or work near high tension power lines have a lot more health problems and higher risk of cancer. But I give you this idea to show how there are ways out there to get clean energy to everyone. Money is not a problem, as everytime different power lines get joined together, more money is made than cost to join them.
… Population decline is a very familiar concept in the developed world, where fertility has long since fallen far below the 2.1 live births per woman required to maintain population equilibrium. In Germany, the birthrate has sunk to just 1.36, worse even than its low-fertility neighbors Spain (1.48) and Italy (1.4). The way things are going, Western Europe as a whole will most likely shrink from 460 million to just 350 million by the end of the century. That’s not so bad compared with Russia and China, each of whose populations could fall by half. As you may not be surprised to learn, the Germans have coined a polysyllabic word for this quandary: Schrumpf-Gesellschaft, or “shrinking society.”…
Already, more than half the world’s population is reproducing at below the replacement rate…..
If the Germany of today is the rest of the world tomorrow, then the future is going to look a lot different than we thought. Instead of skyrocketing toward uncountable Malthusian multitudes, researchers at Austria’s International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis foresee the global population maxing out at 9 billion some time around 2070. ….
According to a 2008 IIASA report, if the world stabilizes at a total fertility rate of 1.5—where Europe is today—then by 2200 the global population will fall to half of what it is today. By 2300, it’ll barely scratch 1 billion.
