How do I Really Know if I am Toxic?
Have you had your daily dose of toxins today? Aside from breathing the air, if you have washed your hair, brushed your teeth, shaved, washed dishes, taken a shower, used a hand lotion, done any house cleaning, chances are you have had a hefty dose of toxins.
We find ourselves existing in a far more toxic and hostile environment than our bodies were designed to handle. Experts have shown that almost every health problem-from learning disorders to cancer and heart disease-is aggravated by the approximate 1,000% increase in lead levels in our bones. In 1999, it was reliably reported that hearts with some form of disease have 20,000 times more toxic heavy metals than healthy hearts.”
“Human exposure to heavy metals has risen dramatically in the last 50 years, however, as a result of an exponential increase in the use of heavy metals in industrial processes and products. Today, chronic exposure comes from mercury-amalgam dental fillings, lead in paint and tap water, chemical residues in processed foods, and “personal care” products (cosmetics, shampoo and other hair products, mouthwash, toothpaste, soap). In today’s industrial society, there is no escaping exposure to toxic chemicals and metals.”(12)
A recently concluded “Body Burden” study by New York’s Mt. Sinai Hospital and the Environmental Working Group was reviewed by University of Oregon Professor Joseph Thornton: “It shows the universality of chemical contamination of people’s bodies,” Thornton said. All the studies “confirm the general message that everybody in our society has these chemicals building up. Some people have it worse than others, but everyone has it. No one is clean anymore.” (13)
The most common toxic heavy metals we are exposed
to are: Mercury, Lead, Cadmium , Arsenic and Aluminum .
These toxic metals are contained in everyday products we all use.
The best way to get rid of heavy metals is chelation. You can have this done by a doctor. We used to sell a much, much cheaper product that was chelation by suppository, but the government told us not to sell it, even though it helped many people, and hurt no one.
There are plenty of other sources of toxins, in everyday foods. Read 55 easy-to-read chapters which will tell you what you can eat and drink in:
