WARNING: Confirm that your Modem does Not have WIFI
by Stephanie Relfe
A woman we know recently got an ‘upgrade’ to her cable. They did NOT TELL HER that it had wifi on it! When we visited, we got very tired and did not understand why, untill we realized that the new modem she had been given had wifi on it! This was crazy, because she has no use for wifi!
The woman then realized that “wifi” was listed on her new account.
Michael (I.T. expert) tried to disable it, but could tell from the way it was acting, and research on the internet, that YOU CAN NEVER DISABLE IT PERFECTLY!
He phoned the company to get a replacement modem (after the woman herself had done this and failed to get a positive response). They tried to talk him into keeping the modem, but just disabling the wifi. Michael was adamant and let them know he has a technical background and wanted a new modem that has ZERO WIFI capability on it.
Finally, the woman let him know she knew what he was talking about, and agreed to send a replacement. Obviously, she knew from the start what the problem was, but had been trained to try to talk people into keeping the wifi modem.
It was difficult for the technicians to find a modem without WIFI. It took two technicians three hours to do the replacement (partly because they had a computer outage during that time). That cost the company big bucks. If they cared about profits, they should ask people first if they want WIFI or not, and always have a non-wifi modem available. Since that option is not in the system, we believe that this is evidence that someone high up wants people weakened/dead. Remember that the Medical Mafia makes $3 trillion a year in the USA alone.
Some people say “wifi is everywhere so it doesn’t make a difference.” Wrong. The difference is huge. The damage goes up exponentially the closer you are to the antenna, and the longer you spend next to it. That’s a little like saying there is no point in giving up smoking, because you eat at a restaurant where people smoke; and wifi is much more dangerous than smoking – it damages DNA.
The following modem has wifi. Note the wifi light and the long case for the antenna:
Check your modem to confirm that it does not say “wifi” anywhere! This modem does not have wifi:
Some ways to have a WIFI free modem for your cable internet (ethernet):
1) Ask soon as the person you are talking to gives you problem, say;
“I want to escalate this problem. Please put me on to your SUPERVISOR.”
2) Look online to find out what kind of modems the company has, to see what they have available, and tell them which one you want.
3) Leave the company and find another. Look at their list of acceptable modems and make sure that the modem does not contain a wi-fi radio. Remember it is NOT good enough to “disable” the wi-fi. If the radio is in the hardware it can be turned on remotely without you knowing about it. And it just might always be turned on so that your home becomes a wi-fi hotspot for the neighbors.
4) Buy your own modem.
