What to Eat and Not Eat
Diabetes is serious. More limb amputations are performed for diabetes than for any other non-traumatic disease.
Diabetes is a modern disease that was created by corporations. They get rich from selling fast food, junk food, diet food and eventually insulin, drugs and operations, which form an ever growing part of the $2.2 trillion that the Medical Mafia makes each year, in the USA alone. That’s five times the defense budget!
The above statistic is included in my book You’re not Fat, You’re Toxic which took me years to research, and two years to write. In the comprehensive index there are a number of entries to various profitable diseases, including diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
The following are quotes from You’re not Fat, You’re Toxic. This article is not a comprehensive guide to healing diabetes, but to give you some essential information that you likely won’t hear from elsewhere. The book covers this information in much greater detail:
1) NO WHEAT
“The original wheat was the emmer variety, called einkorn. It had only 14 chromosomes. Today’s wheat has a whopping 28 chromosomes. It’s a totally different plant. This change started only in 1943 (when almost everyone was naturally thin) by the Rockefeller Foundation[i], the same family who created a monopoly of American medicine and drugs in the 1920s, with funding of the Flexner report.
The Flexner report falsely claimed that natural health therapies were quackery and also centralized the power of independent doctors. When vast changes were made to wheat with the publicized goal of increasing yields and qualities suitable for factory processing, not one test on animals or humans was made to see if this was a good or safe idea. We now know that it was definitely not safe.
…One slice of whole wheat bread has a higher glycemic index than table sugar! The glycemic index of whole wheat bread is 72. Sugar is 59. The shocking truth is that two slices of whole wheat bread raises blood sugar more than most sodas or candy bars!
… And that is partly why Dr. Davis has had diabetics become non-diabetics by removing carbohydrates, especially wheat, from their lives. How strange then that the American Dietetic Association recommends that you do the opposite – that you should eat lots of ‘healthy’ whole grains. Or do they perhaps know what they are doing? Could this fact from their own website possibly have anything to do with it? – The cost of diabetes in the U.S. in 2007 exceeds $174 billion each year. Somebody gets that money. This means that they are either stupid, or greedy and evil. Take your pick. If they are doing this on purpose, and I believe they are, then it makes organized crime look like kindergarten.
As Dr. Davis says in his book Wheat Belly, …
“Ignoring ADA diet advice and cutting carbohydrate intake leads to improved blood sugar control…dramatic weight loss, and improvement in all the metabolic messiness of diabetes such as high blood pressure and triglycerides”.”
2) NO MEAT, FISH OR DEEP-FRIED FOOD
“Scientists are now studying a fairly new discovery, Advanced Glycation End Products, or AGEs for short. AGEs, just like their name, age people. AGEs cause major diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease, atherosclerosis, dementia, cancer and eye problems such as cataracts. “
“The foods richest in AGEs are animal products (eg meat and cheese) and especially those heated to high temperatures. Broiling or frying increases AGE content by over 1,000 times. Plus the longer you cook, the more AGEs you get.
Therefore, it is a great shame that the government promotes meat-eating, by subsidizing it with taxpayers money. You will see how they do this in the Food Inc. documentary. 30% of the land base in the USA is under corn (mostly GMO corn), which is super cheap only because of money from the government. That is, taxpayers are paying for massive, cruel factory farms where animals are fed corn, not grass, and which keep the price of meat artificially low.”
3) NO CAFFEINE
Caffeine raises cortisol, a stress hormone. From the chapter on caffeine, in You’re not Fat, You’re Toxic:
“High levels of cortisol damage insulin receptors on cells to make them insulin-resistant (which leads to fat gain & diabetes).”
4) KILL PARASITES
And here’s something in the book about diabetes that does not relate to diet:
“Diabetes is caused by the pancreatic fluke of cattle, Eurytrema.”
That’s in the chapter on parasites.
