Raw Apple Crumble Recipe

This dessert is easier and faster to make than an apple pie or crisp, and requires no baking. That means it contains no AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products), which as you would know if you had read You’re not Fat, You’re Toxic, cause aging, obesity and many other diseases.

Takes minutes to make.

You could have this for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Instead of refined sugars, this recipe uses dates for sweetness, and lemon juice and cinnamon for that extra zing. Serves: 2-4

INGREDIENTS

Topping

½ cup walnuts

2 pitted dates

Filling

4 apples or 2 pears + 2 apples apples, peeled, sliced and diced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Sauce

4 apples or 2 pears + 2 apples, peeled and cut up roughly

2 tablespoons lemon juice

5 pitted dates

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

METHOD

Topping

Blend the walnuts and dates in a food processor until the texture is similar to Grape Nuts. Store in fridge.

Filling

Toss the apples or applies+pears with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Store in fridge.

Sauce

In the food processor, blend all of the sauce ingredients.

Final

Mix the filling and sauce. Add topping.
